In a New York Law Journal column, Anthony Davis and Steve Puiszis present the second of two articles discussing the lawyers' duty of technological competence. The first article considered two realms of competence needed by today's lawyers: data security; and the technology used to run a law firm and practice law. This second article reviews four other areas that require technological competence: social media; electronic discovery; technology used by clients to build products or offer services; and technology used to present information in court.
