Aimee Delaney, leader of Hinshaw's Labor & Employment Practice Group, features in an article by Braden Campbell of Law360 titled "4 Tips for Conducting Effective Workplace Investigations." The article discusses how employers can best conduct internal investigations of workplace harassment.
"Doing a bad investigation — or what’s going to be perceived as a sham investigation — is going to be about as useful as not doing an investigation at all," said Delaney. She also emphasizes the importance of making sure the complaint is investigated by the right people, particularly if accusations involve those in higher levels of an organization.
