Hinshaw partner Scott Seaman—the co-chair of the firm's global Insurance Services Practice Group— is scheduled to present a CLE webinar titled "M&A Transactions Insurance: Maximizing Deal Value, Managing Risks, Solving Challenging Negotiation Points, and Available Coverages" on April 17, 2024.
This CLE webinar will explore the strategic use of insurance in M&A deals to manage risks and improve outcomes for both buyers and sellers. The discussion will cover various types of transactional insurance, including representations and warranties insurance (RWI), litigation insurance, and tax insurance. Additionally, the cost of transactional insurance, available limits of liability, and required retentions will also be discussed.
