New York-based attorney Mohamed F. Sweify, chair of the New York State Bar Association's (NYSBA) International Dispute Resolution Committee and Egypt Chapter of NYSBA’s International Section, will moderate a panel titled "The Role of Arbitral Institutions: U.S. Perspectives on Handling Arbitration Cases" on May 27, 2025, in New York City.
The panel will evaluate how U.S.-based arbitral institutions manage international and domestic arbitration cases, focusing on differences with other jurisdictions. Topics include discovery, language challenges, national court roles, diversity, arbitrator appointments, AI technology, and arbitration fees.
