James M. Hofert to Present During National Business Institute Video Webcast

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner, James M. Hofert, will present during the National Business Institute video webcast. The two sessions are entitled, "Laying the Foundation for Impeachment During Deposition" and "Cross and Direct Examination of Expert Witnesses."
Mr. Hofert is an experienced trial lawyer who has a substantial practice in the areas of complex tort litigation, toxic tort, product liability, insurance bad faith and medical malpractice. His cases have involved alleged injury from exposure to inorganic acids (sulfuric and hydrofluoric acid) and caustic soda, as well as organic chemicals including chlorinated solvents, benzene and diacetyl. He has defended environmental law cases involving chlorinated hydrocarbons (chlorinated solvents, wood preservatives) brought under CERCLA, various state environmental statutes and common law actions.
