Hinshaw Partner Michael M. Marick to Speak at DRI Webcast "Insurance 101: Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation"

On July 29, 2015, Michael M. Marick will serve as a speaker for the Three-Part DRI Webcast Series "Insurance 101: Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation." The webcast will provide an overview of the litigation of insurance coverage and bad faith lawsuits. It will also address the nature of claims typically asserted, the parties, venue, jurisdiction, motion practice, and overall strategic considerations that come into play.
Mr. Marick is a former chair of the DRI Insurance Law Committee and is also a DRI National Director. His legal work involves representing insurers nationally in coverage and bad faith litigation. For over thirty-two years, Michael M. Marick has successfully represented property and casualty insurers in high exposure disputes over coverage at the claim stage, in trial courts, and on appeal. Mr. Marick's successes inside and outside the courtroom are based on a deep understanding of the insurance business from the claims, underwriting and legal perspectives.
