Hinshaw Attorneys to Present at the APCIA Western Region General Counsel Conference

Spencer Kook, Heather McArn, and Scott Seaman are scheduled to speak at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association's (APCIA) Western Region General Counsel Conference. The virtual event, of which Hinshaw is a sponsor, takes place on July 27 – 28, 2021.

On July 27, Kook will co-present "The Latest from the California Regulatory Frontier on Rate and Form Approval Issues." The program will cover new and ongoing regulatory and litigation issues impacting ratings and policy approvals in California.

On July 28, McArn and Seaman will present "Cybersecurity Updates and Insights 2021." Their panel will address recent state regulatory cybersecurity enforcement actions and key takeaways to enhance critical security practices and prepare for regulatory exams. They will also discuss guidance provided by regulators in response to specific cyber threats and provide an update on states that have adopted the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) model security law.
