Hinshaw Attorneys Present at Firm-Sponsored Mortgage Bankers Association's Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference 2024

Hinshaw partners Lauren Campisi, Schuyler Kraus, Brian McGrath, Maura McKelvey, and Akeela White will present at the Mortgage Bankers Association's premier conference on Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance. The conference will take place in San Diego, California, from May 5th to 8th, 2024. Hinshaw is a sponsor of the event, which is designed for legal and compliance professionals working in real estate finance. Attendees will receive the latest information on regulatory initiatives, litigation, legislation, and enforcement activity that affects the industry. The conference will also have interactive sessions to ensure an engaging experience for the participants.

On May 5th, the conference leads with two Hinshaw presentations. Kraus will present a panel titled the "New York FAPA Update." McGrath will co-present "Key State Cases and Fair Lending."

The team is also scheduled to give two presentations on May 7. The first presentation, titled "The Changing Landscape Around Borrower Contact and Collection Rules," will be co-presented by Campisi. The second presentation, "The State of the States – Key State Law Cases and Trends," will be co-presented by White.

McKelvey will co-present "Right Sizing Your Compliance Management System (CMS) for Volume Today" on May 8.
