Global Access Week 2026 Features John DeLascio, Barry MacEntee, and Jason Schulze as Speakers
Event
March 10 – 12, 2026
London, United Kingdom
Hinshaw partners John DeLascio, Barry MacEntee, and Jason Schulze will speak on separate panels at Global Access Week 2026, a Hinshaw-sponsored conference taking place March 10-12, 2026, in London, United Kingdom. The conference features a series of targeted seminars and discussions addressing emerging and high-impact issues in the insurance industry.
On March 10th, Jason will co-present a session titled "Silent AI: Managing the Unseen Impact." The session will explore a new wave of non-affirmative AI exposures, including risks from algorithmic errors that may create coverage grey areas. Jason will examine policy wording, identify potential gaps, and discuss strategies for claims and underwriting teams to manage these evolving systemic risks.
Also on March 10th, Barry will co-present "AI and Professional Liability: Allocating Blame When Machines Make Mistakes." This session will address responsibility for AI-driven failures in professions such as law and accountancy, examining Generative AI errors, how to mitigate the risk associated with the use of Generative AI tools, and how regulators and courts may apportion fault between humans and automated systems.
On March 12th, John will speak on a panel titled "The Escalating Cost of Claims: Social Inflation, Litigation Funding & Punitive Damages." With social inflation and rising punitive awards driving up the cost of high-value claims globally, the panel will examine emerging trends and their implications for insurers, including reserving strategies, policy limit adequacy, and rising defense costs.
