D.L. Morriss to Co-Present Webinar on Brazilian Juneteenth National Independence Day at the New York Bar Association

Hinshaw partner D.L. Morriss will be a featured speaker in the webinar "Brazilian Black History Month," on December 5, 2024. The panel will address important issues aimed at enhancing the Black experience in the legal sector, including strategies to overcome workplace challenges, advance careers, and reduce racial barriers to improve diverse representation. Additionally, the discussion will include a comparative analysis of past diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the United States, while offering a preview of expectations in 2025 and beyond.
Morriss, a commercial litigator and DEI partner at Hinshaw, also serves as the DEI officer and secretary for the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) International Section.
