Event
October 16-17, 2024
Hinshaw partners D.L. Morriss and Jason Kim will speak at the firm-sponsored 2024 Seoul Global Conference, which will be held between October 16 and October 18, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea.
On October 16, Morriss will moderate a CLE panel discussion titled "A Comparative Approach to Employment Litigation and Best Practices for Employers," in which Kim will serve as a panelist. This panel will assess recent trends in employment litigation across Korea and U.S. jurisdictions, focusing on best practices for mitigating employer exposure.
Additionally, Morriss will participate in an October 17 CLE panel discussion titled "The Rise of Global Wire Fraud Claims and Financial Institution Liability." Morriss, a commercial litigator and DEI partner at Hinshaw, also serves as the DEI officer and secretary for the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) International Section. Kim has a proven track record as a litigator representing clients in workers' compensation defense and labor and employment cases and also represents many Korean-speaking clients in various business matters.
