David Levitt to Present on Third-Party Litigation Funding at DRI IP Litigation Seminar
Event
May 10, 2019
Hinshaw attorney David Levitt is scheduled to speak at the DRI Intellectual Property Litigation Seminar, on May 10, 2019, at the Omni Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas. Titled "Third-Party Litigation Funding Comes of Age: Transparency Needed," the presentation will review a host of developing ethical and practical issues presented by the fast-growing third-party litigation funding (TPLF) business in the United States.
Late last year, Levitt co-authored a DRI white paper on the TPLF industry, arguing that the "time has arrived" for uniform rules and disclosure of TPLF agreements.
