Matthew Walker defends individuals, insurance companies and top global Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of civil defense litigation. He has advised clients on matters involving premises liability, wrongful death, automobile liability, construction defects and product liability.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Matthew furthered his knowledge and experience in civil defense litigation at firms in Ft. Lauderdale and Davie, Florida.
During law school, Matthew was an intern for the Office of the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit. He was also a certified legal intern for the Office of the State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Ft. Lauderdale.
In addition to his other law school accomplishments, Matthew was active in Moot Court. His team won first place at the Moot Commercial Arbitration Competition at the University of Miami and placed in the top 64 teams in the world at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria.
