About Carrie
Carrie is the firm's Deputy General Counsel, advising on matters related to the practice of law, including professional responsibility and ethical concerns. She also provides legal advice on corporate governance, client relationships, and risk- and firm-management policies.
Carrie’s work with the firm’s Lawyers for the Profession® practice group has included a focus on litigation, alongside her role in the Office of General Counsel. She is a litigator with over 30 years in trial work, litigation, and client advisory services. Carrie has represented law firms and lawyers in litigation avoidance and lawsuits involving tax, trusts, intellectual property, corporate transactions, personal injury, and domestic relations. She has also resolved legal malpractice, financial malpractice claims, as well as breach of fiduciary duty matters involving lawyers, trustees, accountants, brokers, and others.
