About Matt
Matt is a seasoned commercial litigator who represents businesses and creditors in a wide variety of commercial litigation and consumer financial services litigation. He defends national and state banks, mortgage loan servicers and investors, automobile finance companies, credit card companies, and other providers of consumer financial services against a variety of claims, including under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Texas Debt Collection Act (TDCA).
Matt advocates for his clients with a business-focused approach. As a former in-house counsel at a national bank, he draws on that experience to negotiate practical solutions, keeping in mind cost-benefit and risk
