Anshuman A. Vaidya

Anshuman’s practice covers government investigations, white-collar crime, tax evasion, regulatory enforcement, and appellate litigation. He brings nearly two decades of experience with government enforcement and regulatory matters, most recently as a supervisory attorney with the US Department of the Treasury in the IRS Chief Counsel’s Office in Chicago, where he oversaw attorneys throughout the Midwest and advised federal agents on tax evasion, conspiracy, money laundering, cryptocurrency, CARES Act Fraud, and public corruption investigations.

Prior to joining the Treasury, Anshuman spent more than a decade as a white-collar prosecutor in Illinois, holding leadership positions in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, where he successfully prosecuted securities fraud, mail and wire fraud, embezzlement, insurance fraud, identity theft, and bank fraud. He began his career in the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, spearheading civil enforcement investigations into the energy, telecom, banking, and insurance industries.
