About Corey
Corey advises businesses of all sizes on all aspects of the employment relationship. He assists human resources professionals, in-house counsel, and managers on matters spanning from hire through termination, including disability and other leave considerations, misclassification issues, and employee misconduct and disciplinary incidents.
Corey also represents employers in litigation before federal, state, and administrative forums under statutes such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Wisconsin Fair Employment Act (WFEA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Experience
- Obtained a complete defense verdict in a jury trial involving improper wage deduction, retaliation, and wrongful discharge claims seeking over $300,000 against a healthcare system.
- Secured summary judgment win for the defense in an ERISA case seeking $4 million in fund assets, following withdrawal by a construction trade union from its benefits plan.
