Zhaniyel Bekpossynova

Zhaniyel advises clients on a broad range of healthcare matters. Her practice focuses on corporate and transactional law, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, employment matters, and commercial litigation, representing businesses and organizations across a variety of industries. She works with clients on matters spanning contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution, bringing a practical, business-oriented approach to every engagement.

Before joining Hinshaw, Zhaniyel built a diverse foundation in both private practice and in-house roles. She spent several years as an associate attorney at New York and California law firms, where she handled commercial disputes and litigation. Prior to that, she held senior in-house and legal department leadership positions in Kazakhstan for more than a decade, including serving as Corporate & Legal Affairs Manager for Imperial Tobacco's Central Asia operations. This background provides her with a global, cross-border perspective on advocacy, negotiations, and compliance.
