About Shivani
Shivani represents nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other providers of aging services in litigation and regulatory advice. Her background in public health administration and policy gives her a deep and practical understanding of the challenges healthcare organizations face beyond the courtroom.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Shivani defended academic health centers, large hospital systems, outpatient dialysis facilities, and individual healthcare providers in litigation. She has taken matters to both bench and jury verdict and is cognizant of the nuances that can determine the outcome of a case at every stage of litigation.
Shivani currently serves as chair of the Chicago Bar Association's Health Law Committee.
