About Laura
Laura defends individuals and businesses in all phases of complex civil litigation matters involving commercial, construction, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, and transportation claims. Well versed in all phases of litigation, from negotiating pre-trial settlements to arguing in court, Laura consistently advocates for her clients’ best interests.
Before joining Hinshaw, Laura practiced at Chicago-based litigation firms where she gained experience representing clients in general liability disputes—experience that laid the foundation for her current work in civil litigation. While earning her law degree, she was selected for the Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy, devoting over 400 hours per semester to advanced trial techniques. She also clerked for a boutique Chicago labor and employment firm. Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal assistant, defending small businesses against intellectual property claims in federal courts.
