About Kasey
Drawing on more than 15 years of civil litigation experience, Kasey represents financial institutions, including banks, mortgage servicers, captive finance companies, independent lenders, and auto finance providers in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Her work includes defending clients in foreclosure challenges, creditor’s rights matters, and lien‑priority disputes.
In the mortgage lending arena, Kasey regularly defends claims under key federal consumer‑protection statutes, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). She also has deep experience with disputes involving alleged violations of the Texas Constitution’s home‑equity lending provisions.
Kasey maintains a robust appellate practice and has served as the sole or principal drafter of multiple appellate briefs submitted to Texas appellate courts and the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, with a strong record of favorable results.
