About Jim
Jim maintains a broad commercial and tort litigation practice, representing life, health, and disability insurers, banks, loan servicers, owners and property managers of residential and commercial real estate, business owners, and professional licensees in both state and federal courts. Jim represents clients at all stages of litigation, from inception through trial and appeal, handling matters involving the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Missouri Merchandising Practices Act (MMPA), and claims of professional negligence.
Jim recently obtained a summary judgment victory and successfully defended the appeal before the Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri in a common carrier matter alleging carrier liability for the negligence of a third-party.
