Connor J. McIlwain

Connor is a Chicago-based healthcare litigation attorney who advises healthcare providers, organizations, and industry stakeholders on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters. He is committed to delivering practical guidance and strategic solutions that help clients navigate complex operational challenges. He also maintains an active appellate practice, drawing on his experience before the Illinois Appellate Court to help clients address complex legal issues on appeal.

Connor previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary L. Mikva of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District, from 2024 to 2026, where he drafted orders and opinions on a variety of civil and criminal cases, including business disputes, foreclosure and negligence actions, and direct appeals from administrative agencies.

Prior to law school, Connor held several marketing roles in New York City, including at Macy’s Inc. and L’Oréal. This business experience, combined with his clerkship, informs his client-centric approach to litigation.
