Alexander R. Green

An exceptional litigator, Alex has a history of successfully representing clients through all stages of the litigation process, from pre-litigation investigations through trial and appellate proceedings. His clients entrust him with their most serious litigation matters in some of the most challenging venues in the country. While his practice is national in scope, Alex frequently appears in federal, bankruptcy, and state courts throughout Virginia, including the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, often referred to as the “Rocket Docket,” as well as in Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

A considerable amount of Alex’s practice is devoted to representing many of the nation’s largest banks, mortgage lenders, auto finance companies, commercial lenders, and fintech companies in class-action litigation, complex commercial litigation, and other high-profile disputes. To that end, he defends clients against claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protect Act (TCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and various state laws, including the Maryland Consumer Protection Act.
