David Schultz and Vaishali Rao to Address Q3 Uptick in CFPB Enforcement Actions
Webinar
Nov 10, 2020
Hinshaw partners David Schultz and Vaishali Rao will speak on a virtual panel about the uptick in public enforcement actions announced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in the third quarter. The agency brought 19 matters in Q3, which is five times the number in the prior quarter and double the amount in the same quarter last year. The webinar is organized by Accountsrecovery.net.
The panel will consider whether this increase is the result of a new enforcement push within the CFPB or just a blip on the radar.
