Tessa Vorhaben Appointed to the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association’s Board of Directors

The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Tessa Vorhaben has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) for the 2025–2026 term.
The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is the FBA’s largest chapter, serving over 1,200 members by offering CLE programs, networking events, and exclusive member benefits. Dedicated to enhancing the professional lives of federal practitioners, the chapter fosters education, leadership, and communication while supporting the national mission of the FBA. Tessa represents insurance carriers and companies in various matters, including coverage analysis, first-party and third-party insurance claims, agent and broker liability, property, and directors and officers (D&O) liability claims. She also has extensive experience representing carriers involved in the National Flood Insurance Program. A skilled litigator, Tessa has taken numerous cases to jury trial and achieved favorable results, including defense verdicts, dismissals, and summary judgments in multi-million-dollar coverage disputes.
Tessa is an active member in the legal community, serving on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Bar Association and as chair of its Women in the Profession Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. In 2023, she was recognized as a New Orleans Top Lawyer by New Orleans Magazine.
