L.J. Rotman Recognized in the Inaugural Minnesota Lawyer Minnesota Legal 250

About L.J.

L.J. handles complex real estate financing, acquisitions, workouts, and commercial transactions, with a focus on the hospitality industry. He has structured and negotiated billions of dollars in hotel transactions involving thousands of properties worldwide, bringing extensive experience to matters spanning construction contracts, land development, franchising, environmental compliance, and bankruptcy.

In addition, he has handled notable sports venue transactions, including Target Field and US Bank Stadium, as well as related infrastructure and mixed-use developments. L.J. has previously served on Hinshaw’s executive committee and as a former partner-in-charge of the Minneapolis office.

He has also received numerous honors throughout his legal career in Minnesota, including recognition by Minnesota Lawyer as part of the Minnesota Legal 250: Construction Law (2026) and The POWER 30 LIST: Construction and Real Estate Law (2021–2025), and has been named a finalist for Real Estate Lawyer of the Year by Minnesota Real Estate Journal (2024).
