The American Lawyer's "Litigation Daily" magazine covered a recent American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) training session that featured Hinshaw partner Eugene Brown Jr. discussing tactics for preparing and delivering an effective opening statement as a defense attorney.
Brown co-presented with plaintiff's lawyer Cynthia McGuinn of Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn. Each discussed a mock case that they tried against each other and walked attendees through how they each approached the case. Footage of the lawyers' respective openings, filmed during a training session in Charleston, South Carolina, will be uploaded shortly to the archive of ABOTA's monthly webinars.
