Hinshaw partners Roy Bossen, Frank A. Mazzagatti, William Schiller, and Ian Wagreich are each scheduled to present at the 2025 Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys (IAHA) 43rd Annual Health Law Symposium on November 6, 2025. The conference will be accessible both in person in Chicago, Illinois, and virtually.
Frank will co-present a live panel titled “The False Claims Act: The Troll Under Healthcare’s Bridge” that looks at the FCA’s impact on healthcare providers.
Roy, a past IAHA president and long-time contributor to its Program and Education Committees, will moderate a virtual pre-recorded session alongside Bill and Ian. Their session will address administrative and legislative updates, visa options for medical professionals (H-1B, J-1 waivers), and recruitment challenges for foreign-trained talent. It will also cover ethical considerations, regulatory compliance, and strategies for sponsoring international healthcare professionals, offering key insights for healthcare lawyers.
