Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner Laurie S. Randolph will present as part of a panel "Tales from the Mound: Learning to Pitch a Perfect Game (Risk Management Drills and Pep Talks from Illinois Court Cases)" at the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers Annual Convention on July 25, 2013, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
The program will address recent Illinois case law concerning engineers' professional liability and risk management. The presentation will include an overview of several cases, an analysis of ways the risk could have been avoided or mitigated, along with recommendations for engineering best practices.
