Ian Wagreich to Chair and Present at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) 2023 Annual Conference

Chicago-based partner Ian Wagreich will serve as chair of the 2023 American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, on June 21–24, 2023. Wagreich will also participate as a panelist for the "New Attendee Orientation" and "Representing the Exceptional and Extraordinary: EB-1 and NIW Cases." The preparation of the employment-based I-140 petition for EB-1A and EB-2 national interest waiver (NIW) cases will be covered, including managing client expectations, recent policy changes for EB-2 NIW cases, common strategic issues, and documentation challenges.

- Awards, high salaries, original contributions, critical roles, and more
- Utilizing documentation presented in O-1A petitions when transitioning to EB-1
- NIWs: Showing that an occupation is in the "national interest"
