Twelve Hinshaw Lawyers Contribute to IICLE's Attorneys' Legal Liability, 2014 Edition

Twelve Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP lawyers contributed to 2014 edition of the Illinois Institute Continuing Education (IICLE) publication, Attorneys' Legal Liability. The book, published October 2014 is designed to serve as a comprehensive, yet practical, reference for Illinois practitioners.

Thomas P. McGarry served as the publication's general editor. He also co-authored (with acknowledgement to Kate Schnake) chapter 6, "Litigating the Legal Malpractice Case" and, with Jennifer W. Weller, chapter 15, "The Limitation of Liability Through Business Forms."

Terrence P. McAvoy and Justin M. Penn co-authored chapter 4, "Attorney Liability to Adversaries and Other Third Parties."

Matthew R. Henderson (with acknowledgement to Abigail M. Higgins) authored chapter 7, "Breach of Fiduciary Duty."

David M. Schultz (with acknowledgement to Palak N. Shah) authored chapter 12, "Statutes Affecting Lawyer Liability."

Kent J. Cummings co-authored chapter 14, "Attorney Liability Insurance."

Thomas L. Browne and Thomas P. Sukowicz co-authored chapter 16, "Attorney Liability Risk Management."
