About Katherine
Katherine represents self-insured entities, uninsured employers, and insurance companies in the defense and litigation of workers' compensation matters, including employment cases involving Labor Code 132(a), wrongful termination actions, and serious and willful claims. Over the course of her more than two decades in practice, she also has handled workers’ compensation matters, tried cases before the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and obtained take-nothing winning decisions.
Katherine counsels clients throughout the litigation process, conducting trials and depositions of litigants and doctors, and negotiating and securing complex case settlements in high-exposure litigation cases and death claims.
