About Anthony
A litigator with extensive experience representing insurers and professionals, Anthony focuses his practice on insurance coverage and general and professional liability defense, with an emphasis on defending lawyers and law firms against liability claims; and defending hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other health care professionals in litigation, licensing, and administrative law matters at the state and federal levels in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Experience
- Secured a motion to dismiss victory for a law firm that had been sued for contribution by a predecessor law firm facing a legal malpractice claim in connection with legal advice it had provided concerning wage and hour laws.
- Assisted in persuading the court to enforce the settlement and dismiss the plaintiffs’ claims after plaintiffs in a legal malpractice case reneged on a negotiated “walk away” settlement on the eve of trial.
