About Kevin

An experienced litigator, Kevin represents consumer finance clients throughout all stages of a case, from initial complaint through motion practice and, if needed, trial. He also advises clients on labor and employment matters, including those concerning the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Law. Kevin enjoys collaborating with his clients to make sure that the results obtained meet their specific business needs.

Kevin is a former Assistant Attorney General for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where he interpreted and enforced public transparency laws, including the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Open Meeting Law and Public Records Law, and conducted investigations and depositions of public officials.

Achieved favorable rulings for a loan servicer client in defense of multi-count complaint—including claims under RESPA, TILA, and RICO—before First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Defended a corporation in connection with an investigation by the California Attorney General's Office and the US Department of Justice into whether the company submitted invoices for services not performed in violation of the California and federal false claims acts.
Secured dismissal of claims in state and federal court in defense of a class action stemming from purportedly ambiguous statements in pre-foreclosure notices.
Developed best practices for compliance with controlling law in advising an international transportation corporation on labor and employment issues related to its acquisition of New England trucking company.
Ensured compliance with commercial lending regulations across multiple states by guiding a non-profit in the design of small-dollar loan products for its immigrant client population.
