About Shantel
Shantel is a trial lawyer who defends clients in personal injury and property damage claims. She has secured multiple jury trial defense verdicts in Cook, Will, and Kane counties and also resolved cases through alternative dispute resolution. Shantel has extensive experience in all stages of litigation and is licensed to practice in Illinois and New York.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Shantel practiced insurance defense representing government entities in civil rights cases, prosecuted municipal violations, and served as a hearing officer for various municipalities. Further, she practices before federal and state district courts and state appellate courts and has represented clients from diverse industries including transportation, insurance, federal, state and local government.
