About Sarah
Sarah represents insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage matters, focusing on claims under general liability, excess and umbrella liability, employer's liability, business auto, and directors and officers (D&O) policies. She advises on disclosure issues, settlement strategies, time-limited demands, and potential extracontractual/bad faith exposure. With experience across multiple states, Sarah has particular experience with Illinois and Florida matters.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Sarah clerked for the Honorable Allen P. Walker in the Chancery Division in the Circuit Court of Cook County and at a national firm's Chicago office, assisting with insurance defense and coverage matters, including high-exposure cybersecurity and Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) claims.
