About Rick
Rick is an experienced litigator who manages complex consumer and commercial finance disputes and other high-stakes domestic and international matters. He also counsels financial institutions and companies on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and industry best practices, drawing on extensive courtroom, appellate, arbitration, and regulatory experience.

- Successfully managed litigation efforts leading to seven figures in recoveries for the client as an in-house counsel for a leading financial institution.
- Secured victorious appeals as an Appellate team member representing foreign government in the Second and D.C. Circuits (cert. denied U.S. Supreme Court) related to judgments exceeding $600 million.

Rick loves spending time with his wife and five kids and is often attending one of their countless family activities, revolving around football, band, softball, and orchestra events. A devoted sports fan, he proudly cheers on his Aggies and other local Texas professional teams, including the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. When he has the chance to get outside, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and (attempting to play) golf.
