About Nick
Nick's practice focuses on automotive finance issues, including collateral recovery, title litigation, and the defense of consumer actions in state and federal court. He has nearly a decade of experience in automotive litigation. While his practice originated in Texas, he has expanded nationally, as motor vehicles frequently cross state lines, and he now has a rapidly growing practice in Florida.
Nick routinely combats lien claims against motor vehicles asserted by third-party lienors, such as tow companies and repair shops. These claims often attempt to clear valid interests, typically purchase money security interests (PMSI) or lessor interests, from vehicle titles. Clients rely on Nick to move swiftly to secure their collateral and, when necessary, reinstate their interest on the title.
He also handles disputes between auto finance companies and dealerships, as well as consumer claims brought against finance companies in arbitration, state, and federal court. Nick handles a wide range of consumer claims, including those arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Texas and Florida consumer protection statutes, as well as claims involving contract and fraud.
