About Marisa
Marisa is an experienced litigator whose practice includes a variety of complex litigation matters, ranging from commercial and contract disputes to bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, products liability, lender liability, insurance defense, professional and management liability, and construction litigation. She has experience handling litigation involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and related state consumer protection laws. Representing clients nationwide, Marisa routinely appears in federal and state courts in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine.

- Secured dismissal of a legal malpractice action in Massachusetts state court based on the absence of an attorney-client relationship.

- Obtained summary judgment in a breach of contract and misrepresentation case in the US District Court for the District of Rhode Island.

Interests
Marisa is an avid skier, occasional runner, and mediocre golfer. She ran the 2017 New York City Marathon and the 2024 Chicago Marathon for charitable causes. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts, with her family and can often be found trying new restaurants or cheering on the Patriots and the Virginia Cavaliers.
