About Marc
Marc is a financial services litigator who represents banks, mortgage lenders, servicers, investors, and other financial institutions in complex litigation nationwide. His practice focuses on defending claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and other federal and state financial‑services statutes, including wrongful foreclosure and Texas home‑equity loan litigation.
Marc also has significant experience handling consumer auto finance litigation in both state and federal courts. He represents auto finance companies, banks, and dealerships in disputes involving retail installment sales contracts, wrongful repossession claims, and alleged violations of consumer‑protection laws, including the Magnuson‑Moss Warranty Act and California auto‑finance regulations.

Experience
- Obtained favorable rulings as first‑chair counsel in consumer‑finance litigation, including successful disposition of dispositive motions and defense of restraining‑order and injunction proceedings in state and federal courts.
- Resolved mortgage‑repurchase litigation on behalf of servicers and investors in federal courts in Arizona, California, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.
- Successfully defended and resolved putative class actions against mortgage servicers alleging improper collection and servicing practices in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
- Defeated RICO claims asserted against a mortgage servicer, corporate entity, and former REIT officer.
- Successfully handled garnishment proceedings on behalf of a national bank in state and federal courts.
