Madison represents insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage matters, focusing on claims arising under general liability, excess and umbrella liability, employer’s liability, business auto, and directors and officers (D&O) policies. She advises on disclosure issues, settlement strategies, time-limited demands, and potential extracontractual and bad faith exposure. Madison analyzes policy language and claim facts to develop practical, well-reasoned coverage positions.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Madison represented insurers and businesses in a variety of defense litigation matters, including those involving commercial transportation, construction, premises liability, and other tort claims.
