About Lexi

Lexi defends businesses of all sizes in litigation, representing clients in premises liability, product liability, general and commercial disputes, construction defects, and environmental matters. Clients value Lexi's tenacity and preparation, ensuring readiness for litigation’s challenges. She often serves as lead counsel for general litigation matters.

With more than 15 years of litigation and arbitration experience, Lexi handles civil litigation, class actions, and multidistrict litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. Her work spans serious workplace injuries, property damage, business interruption, complex construction, commercial disputes, and first-party property damage claims. She also represents professionals in a range of errors and omissions policy matters, and manages cases involving admiralty and maritime issues.

Lexi has strong ties to Louisiana politics, allowing her to effectively represent clients in disputes involving public entities. Before joining Hinshaw, she accumulated extensive experience at various law firms across Louisiana, most notably as a founding member of a firm in Baton Rouge. Her deep-rooted connections and familiarity with the legal landscape in Louisiana enhance her ability to advocate for her clients effectively.

Conducted a high-stakes investigation into a potential nepotism policy violation of an attorney disciplinary board, interviewing over 17 employees and administrators in under a month. A series of critical issues were uncovered and documented in a comprehensive report with a recommendation to terminate the tenured administrative director.
