Lexi T. Holinga

With a career focused on courtroom advocacy, Lexi prepares every matter with the expectation it may ultimately be decided in a courtroom. She is known for mastering complex factual and technical records, providing candid strategic advice, and maintaining disciplined control of cases from initial response through trial or resolution. Lexi brings extensive trial and litigation experience across Louisiana state and federal courts, with a practical command of the procedural and strategic realities that shape complex disputes in the region.

Leveraging her experience with high-stakes cases, Lexi represents plan sponsors and insurers in complex ERISA and benefits litigation. She works closely with operators, insurers, and referring counsel to assess exposure, establish strategy, and guide matters through critical stages of litigation. Lexi is regularly engaged as monitoring and excess counsel in significant cases and frequently partners with national and regional law firms as Louisiana counsel for trial and strategic case management in matters requiring proven in-state leadership.

Her work spans disputes involving maritime operations, industrial and construction incidents, commercial conflicts, and catastrophic-loss events, as well as high-stakes business disputes for local and regional companies. A significant portion of her work comes through referrals from attorneys and industry professionals who value her judgment and rely on her to step into complex matters while respecting and protecting established client relationships.

Before joining Hinshaw, Lexi practiced with established Louisiana litigation firms and was a founding member of a Baton Rouge firm, building a practice grounded in trial work and complex litigation across Louisiana.
