About Laura
Laura Cannon handles federal and state appeals across commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and consumer financial services. She also advises on white-collar compliance and defends public entities in constitutional cases.
Her prior experience includes representing insurers, financial lenders, and securities brokers in state and federal court and in arbitration.
Laura served as a Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Attorney for the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, where she led the oversight of extended and complex district court appointments in serious federal cases across the circuit.
