"According to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the average person will spend approximately one-third of their life at work. Employment disputes are more than “just business,” I often say. About Jerri
Jerri is an employment attorney with more than 10 years of experience in complex workplace litigation. She handles matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employment-contract disputes before federal and state courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and various administrative agencies throughout Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Jerri represented individual plaintiffs in employment and civil-rights matters. This experience provides her with a uniquely comprehensive understanding of how disputes develop and how to position clients for favorable outcomes through strategic advocacy, practical counsel, and decisive litigation when necessary.
Jerri’s approach is pragmatic and relationship-centered. She believes effective representation requires more than legal precision—it requires understanding the human dynamics driving each conflict. Known for her ability to identify the core of an issue, Jerri builds trust quickly, fosters clarity amid conflict, and helps clients navigate challenging situations with both empathy and grit.
