- Obtained a jury verdict in favor of an aviation charter company client, including an award for punitive damages. Served as second chair of a jury trial in state court which involved the unlawful dissemination of intellectual property.
- Obtained summary final judgment in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida in favor of a major domestic, commercial airline in a personal injury action where the plaintiff alleged a "hard landing,” which caused her spinal fractures. Affirmed on appeal by the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
- Obtained a final order of dismissal for an international fixed base operator in a personal injury action where the plaintiff claimed common law negligence as to the provisions of “services" for the operation of an aircraft by arguing the claim was preempted by the Federal Airline Deregulation Act of 1978 (49 USC. § 41713(b)), which expressly preempted the action and other matters "relating to price, route or service of an air carrier."
- Obtained an order directing an aircraft maintenance company to return an aircraft owned by an aircraft leasing corporation where it had perfected a lien against the aircraft but held onto possession of the aircraft in excess of three months in violation of Fla.
