Charles E. Stoecker, III

Charles "Chase" is a versatile attorney who supports clients nationwide in financial services litigation, commercial disputes, and employment counseling.  

Chase’s expansive financial services experience includes defending clients against actions and investigations under statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and against contested commercial and residential foreclosure actions. His experience also uniquely positions him to represent employers in the financial services space, as well as defend financial services clients against discrimination claims brought under such statutes as the Fair Housing Act and the Fair Credit Act.  

Chase represents clients in a broad array of business disputes, including breach of contract, property management issues, premises liability claims, and complex cases involving consumer protection statutes. His practice extends across state, federal, and bankruptcy courts, including trials, appeals, creditors’ rights, and class action defense. 

In his employment practice, Chase drafts and advises on employee handbooks, compensation agreements, and restrictive‑covenant documents, and litigates wage and hour matters and claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
