About Birgit
Birgit represents domestic and foreign insurers in a broad range of first- and third-party insurance coverage disputes concerning residential, commercial, and industrial construction defects, catastrophic construction failures, natural disasters, hospitality liability, business interruption claims, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) environmental actions, post-loss reconstruction under the auspices of California's Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, and complex business disputes, including high-tech matters. Her practice also includes insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, pre-litigation coverage analysis, agents and brokers professional liability defense, reinsurance disputes, and insurance liquidation proceedings.

Birgit was born and raised in Los Angeles and presently resides in the San Fernando Valley with her husband and twin daughters. When not helping clients with their legal needs, she spends her time traveling, scrapbooking, and cheering on her daughters' club soccer team.
