Angelo Tzivas

Angelo helps clients identify and manage legal risks before disputes arise, and represents them in federal and state court when litigation becomes unavoidable. He represents clients in complex civil litigation matters, including business disputes, employment issues, and tort defense. He also serves as outside general counsel to several businesses.

Angelo brings a broad perspective shaped by experience in both government service and private practice. As an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, he prosecuted wage and hour violations on behalf of the Illinois Department of Labor. He also defended state agencies and employees in employment and civil rights matters.

Angelo represents individuals, municipalities, school districts, police departments, closely held businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. He guides his clients through all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, arbitration, trial, and post-judgment proceedings.
