About Alisha
With over a decade of litigation experience, including service as a former Assistant United States Attorney, Alisha focuses her practice on advising healthcare providers on regulatory, compliance, and contracting issues and defending medical malpractice litigation. She also represents providers in matters before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Alisha brings a rigorous, results-driven approach to each case, advocating for her clients with integrity, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of the complex regulatory and litigation landscape in the healthcare sector.

- Secured affirmance on appeal before the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, protecting the employer’s decision-making process in an employee termination matter.
- Obtained early summary judgment in four constitutional-rights lawsuits before the US District Court for the Central District of Illinois while serving as an Assistant United States Attorney, saving significant litigation time and expense.
- Won dismissal for lack of subject matter jurisdiction in a case of first impression in immigration law.
